Some people believe jobs like doctors and teachers are safe from robots due to the need for human connection and creativity. However, robots are already outperforming doctors in diagnosing illnesses, and some patients may even prefer sharing personal information with machines. Could robots also play a role in education?

British education expert Anthony Seldon thinks so, predicting that by 2027, robots will take over the main role of transferring knowledge, while teachers will become assistants. Robots could read students' facial expressions, movements, and even brain signals to adapt lessons to individual needs. However, robots are unlikely to ever have the empathy or connection that human teachers offer.

Despite this, robots could be a solution in areas with a teacher shortage. In some parts of the world, a significant number of children don't have access to education. Robots could teach anywhere without feeling stressed, tired, or seeking higher-paying jobs.

A key question is not whether robots will replace teachers, but how they can assist them. Many teachers spend over 11 hours a week on non-teaching tasks like marking homework. If robots could handle administrative tasks, teachers would have more time for the human aspects of teaching.

C. Robots will not be used in classrooms.

D. Robots will mainly transfer information while teachers become assistants by 2027.

A. Because they can teach any subject.

B. Because they are cheaper than human teachers.

C. Because they can replace all teachers in the world.

D. Because they can teach anywhere and don't get tired or stressed.
