Sa Pa is a small, mountain town in Lao Cai province in the north of Viet Nam. It is famous for wonderful views, especially for Fansipan - the highest mountain in Viet Nam. There are different ethnic minority groups, or tribes, in this town, including the H'mông, Dao, Tày and Giáy. Each group has its own language, traditional clothing and culture. The best way to discover their cultures is by visiting the local villages. Local people in Sa Pa buy and sell things at local markets. Perhaps no local market in Vietnamn is more famous than the 'Love Market' here. This is where young people from the tribes go to town to meet new people and find a partner for marriage. They also sing and dance their traditional dances until the night comes. The most popular day to visit the market is Saturday.
