At the heart of Castleton stood an old castle complex. It was both a structure and a monument to the town's existence. This old castle, with its deep-rooted history, was founded over seven centuries ago and was occupied by various rulers. Now it is a communal gathering place for all the people. People often meet face to face in the old castle's grand hall to share stories, laugh, and dine on fish and chips, the town's favorite takeaway.
