Climate Change and Our Planet
Climate change is one of the biggest problems for Planet Earth today. It means that there are long-term changes in world temperatures and weather. Since the 1800s, human activities have been the main cause of climate change. This is mostly because people burn coal, oil, and gas to run factories or cars. When we burn these things, they create dirty air which stays around the Earth like a thick blanket. This blanket traps the sun's heat and makes our planet much warmer.
The results of climate change are very serious. In many places, there is not enough water for people and animals. There are also more dangerous fires, rising sea levels, and big floods. Many people think climate change only means hotter weather, but it is actually much more than that. On our planet, everything has a link to each other, so a change in one place will cause changes everywhere else. To protect our home, we should use cleaner energy like wind or solar power. Every student can save electricity and reduce waste to help our planet have a sustainable future.
